"Sentient Glitches" is a carefully crafted collection of 182 WAVs, 3 audiovisual demonstrations, and 1 musical composition inspired by the sounds of malfunctioning technology, corrupted data streams, and overloaded machinery.  Some sounds were crafted specifically for this collection, while others were sourced from my past 15+ years of making music and sound.

"Sentient Glitches" include...

SAMPLE PACK

1. Lush Pads (30 files)

• Atmospheric and mostly polyphonic ambient beds.

2. Corrupted Data Streams (33 files)

• Sounds of corrupted data. Prickly sounds with a sense of menace and dread.

3. Uncorrupted Data Streams (47 files)

• Sounds that occupy a similar frequency range as the Corrupted Data Streams, minus the malevolence.

4. Peculiar Transients (31 files)

• Mostly noise based recordings with peculiar transients or unconventional rhythmic patterns.

5. Ephemeral Blips/Sonic Hiccups/other (28 files)

• Misc sonic explorations (e.g. bassier sounds, sonic artifacts/happy accidents).

6. Combined (13 files)

• Previous 5 categories combined to create thicker and fuller glitches.
  

APPLICATIONS

1. Applications A - Sound Design

• Demonstration of how the sample pack can be used to score visual movement. Ableton session with 3 example videos sound designed only using the sample pack. (Separate video exports and audio splits for each video provided for non-Ableton users. Splits compatible with other DAWs like Pro Tools, Logic, Reaper, Cubase, and Fruity Loops)
